I will be doing the scenic design for my first "non-USC" related production! Theatre Americana's production of Mary of the Avenue is a quirky new musical written by Neil Scanlan and Greg Wood, directed by Donna Scarantio. I am so excited to be working on great productions and opportunities, such as this, while I am still in school!
January 28 – February 1, 2013
Opening Reception: Wednesday, January 30, 5-7pm
This one week solo exhibit features the instillation by artist and set designer, Madi Orgill. This installation art piece focuses on story telling through the theatricality of scenic design and her love for horror.
This contained environment allows you to look into a world, and see its shattered and disturbing history. The viewer becomes the detective to find what caused such insanity and abandonment to only find out that the truth is in their subconscious.

More great news! I will be Assistant Set Designer to the talented Jeff Hyde for The Repertory East Playhouse's production of 9 to 5, which runs July 12- August 17. This will get me ready for my first Set Deign at The REP for the production of Woody Allen'sPlay It Again Sam, which runs November 15- December 14th. I am so excited for these great opportunities right when I graduate from USC! The REP just got voted one of the 6 Best Dramatic Theatres in L.A. by the 2012 Los Angeles Times readers poll, and I am amazed that I get to work for them!
I just got an email from the Repertory East Playhouse's Artistic Director about doing the scenic painting for their opening show of the season: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! I love this theatre and am so thrilled to work for them again!
The show runs from January 25th- February 23rd, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm at the Repertory East Playhouse in Santa Clarita.
