![]() January 28 – February 1, 2013 Opening Reception: Wednesday, January 30, 5-7pm This one week solo exhibit features the instillation by artist and set designer, Madi Orgill. This installation art piece focuses on story telling through the theatricality of scenic design and her love for horror. This contained environment allows you to look into a world, and see its shattered and disturbing history. The viewer becomes the detective to find what caused such insanity and abandonment to only find out that the truth is in their subconscious. Another semester and year is coming to a close, but a lot of great things are set up for my last semester at USC. I will be doing the set design for the USC School of Dramatic Arts production of Museum by Tina Howe, which runs April 25th-28th. I will also be the set designer for the independent student written production of Wind In The Pines by Kyungseo Min, which runs February 23rd and 24th.
I will have a gallery show in the Lindhurst South Case, Abandoned Subconscious, which is open from January 27th- February 2nd. And I have been asked by the set design faculty at USC to present my work in their showcase in May. I am so excited to have these opportunities and will hopefully end my college experience with a bang! ![]() November 13 – 20, 2012 Opening Reception: Thursday Nov. 15, 5-7pm USC Roski School of Fine Arts is pleased to present the exhibition [DIS]LOCATE curated around the subject of the body and place, and featuring selected work from graduating seniors of the Fine Arts Department.
